Dragonair arrives at Kolkata, launches non-stop service to Hong Kong

Dragonair, the only airline offering a scheduled non-stop service between Hong Kong and Kolkata, today launched its four times a week service with the arrival of its first flight here today.

“Today marks an important step in building Dragonair’s presence in the Indian market,” Tom Wright, General Manager — South Asia, Middle East and Africa, Dragonair said.

Dragonair operates Airbus A320 aircraft.

Kolkata is the second Indian destination for the airline along with Bangalore. The network now covers 41 destinations across the Asia-Pacific region, including 20 cities in mainland China.

Dragonair, an affiliate member of oneworld, is a Hong Kong-based airline operating a fleet of 36 passenger aircraft.
