Full service carrier Vistara has said it will resume daily flight services from New Delhi to the temple city of Varanasi from October 10.

The Tata SIA-run airline had discontinued services to the city in Uttar Pradesh in March this year due to operational reasons.

“Vistara is delighted to reintroduce daily non—stop flights between New Delhi and Varanasi starting October 10,” the airline said in a statement today.

It has also introduced special introductory one-way fare of Rs 1,500 without taxes to attract customers.

The Delhi-based airline at present serves 19 destinations with around 600 weekly flights with a fleet of 15 Airbus 320 family planes.

A joint venture between India’s Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, Vistara plans to launch global operations from mid next year.
