Senior officials of the Ministry of External Affairs say whether Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, will go to the airport to receive the Emperor and Empress of Japan when they arrive in Delhi on November 30, is yet to be decided.
“It is yet a possibility. If it happens, it will not be the first time PM has gone to airport as it happened when US President Obama visited,’’ the official said.
The decision to visit Chennai was a choice of the Japanese royal couple, the officials said.
