New facilities for NPS subscribers

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority has introduced new facilities for the subscribers of the National Pension System (NPS). These include making contributions to accounts online and withdrawing from Tier-II accounts using the registered mobile number and a mobile app. “Currently, NPS and Atal Pension Yojana together have 1.29 crore subscribers with total assets under management of ₹1.34-lakh crore,” said an official release on Friday.
