TiE Hubli conference to be held on January 14, 15

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Hubli chapter members, who plan to promote Hubli as a suitable place for entrepreneurs, are to hold their TiECon (networking conference) on January 14 and 15.

The members have set a focus to position the city as an ideal Tier II and as an alternate to Bangalore for investments.

According to Mr Mahesh V. K., Programme Manager, TiE Hubli Chapter, TiE members who met on Saturday took stock of the city's strengths and have formed core committees to host the event.

The committees are: Theme /Speakers Committee with Mr Vivek Pawar, Mr Mohit Mehta and Mr Sandeep Bidasaria as members. The role of this committee is to finalise the theme and topics for TiECon. Finance, sponsorship and budget committee will have Mr Santosh Huralikoppi, Mr Gautam Ostawal and Mr Prasanna Kulkarni as members. This committee is to plan the budget and get sponsorships.

Invites (both local, global) committee includes Mr Sheshgiri Kulkarni, Mr Jagadish Hiremath and Mr Manohar Joshi. The committee is to identify local successful entrepreneur and to invite them as speakers.

Event management committee, which includes Prof. Roodagi, Mr Prasanna Kulkarni, Mr Roshan Rayker and Mr Gaurav Shah, will handle registration, marketing, designing marketing materials and organising the sessions on event day. Mr Mahesh V. K. will handle transport and lodging committee. Food committee will be headed by Mr Gaurav Shah. The role of this committee is to take care of food arrangement and to prepare the menu for the event.
