Vodafone to hire 130 trainees

Vodafone India will hire over 130 management trainees by 2015 through its leadership programme for campus recruits. Vodafone has already hired 292 through this route, christened ‘Discover Campus’, since 2010. After starting their careers as management trainee at Vodafone, 38 per cent are currently working in mid and senior management levels, according to a press statement. The 12-month initiative gives the recruits exposure across different functions and domains depending on their abilities, it added. Vodafone currently employs over 13,000 staffers across the country.
