Dell recently launched the online e-store Dell Express Ship Affiliate (DESA) for consumers to purchase Dell products online and get faster deliveries.
According to an official statement, Dell’s complete range of consumer products, including the Inspiron, XPS, Alienware and Vostro, including accessories and spare parts, are available through DESA. Customers at the e-store would get all the options available on www.dell.co.in.
According to the statement, industry reports point to the rapid increase in online purchases owing to the convenience, price and accurate product information. The increase in this trend has also been driven by the enhanced safety of the online payment system. Besides, customers can compare products and decide the options that fit their requirement.
P. Krishnakumar, Executive Director & GM, Consumer and Small Business, Dell India said, “With the launch of this initiative, consumers can purchase Dell products with their debit cards, credit cards or Net banking seamlessly. We expect a four times reduction in delivery time for the end customer.”
The Dell Express Ship Affiliate (DESA) platform is managed by GNG Electronics Ltd through the Web site www.compuindia.com. Customers can either browse directly on www.compuindia.com or can access it through the Dell website www.Dell.co.in.
Once an order is placed, the customer is intimated through an e-mail order confirmation and an SMS (if opted for).The order is shipped within 24 hours of receiving the payments and the order status can be tracked on the website.
