Edward Pretty to head Mahindra Satyam Australia, New Zealand

Mahindra Satyam has appointed Edward ‘Ted’ Pretty as the Chairman for its Australian and New Zealand operations. Besides his Australia and New Zealand responsibilities, he will also work for expansion of company's telecom business in Asia.

"Ted will drive strategy in network engineering and operations, business intelligence and analytics, cloud, mobility and security," Mr Rohit Gandhi, Senior Vice-President of Mahindra Satyam (Asia Pacific, India, Middle-East and Africa), said.

Ted had earlier worked for Telstra, Fujitsu and RP Data in top executive roles. He is currently the non-executive director of National Carrier Neutral data centre provider NextDC Ltd, the company said here in a statement on Tuesday.
