Subu D. Subramanian has joined the US-based Cognizant Technology Solutions to strengthen the company’s automotive and manufacturing verticals.
He has 25 years of experience in the IT industry with leading companies, including Tata Consultancy Services.
As a consultant and advisor at Nasdaq-listed Cognizant, which has majority of its employees located in India, Subramanian said that he would drive innovative domain solutions, products and platforms. In the September quarter, 21 per cent of revenue for Cognizant came from manufacturing, retail and logistics.
Subramanian quit Defiance Technologies, a Hinduja Group company, as Managing Director and CEO in October.
