Ibibo names new MD for e-commerce business

Internet and mobile product company Ibibo group has appointed Mr Krishna Motukuri as Managing Director of its e-commerce businesses. Mr Motukuri was earlier Associate Director at Amazon, where he led teams in a variety of divisions such as search, co-op marketing, global expansion and supply chain. He also founded Ugenie, a comparison shopping site. “We are very excited to get Mr Krishna on board to partner with us to build out our various e-commerce businesses. He has lots of entrepreneurial and e-commerce experience which will enable us to further scale our current properties and develop new ones,” said Mr Ashish Kashyap, Group CEO, ibibo Web.
