Infosys in Mangalore organised a hack-a-thon event at its Mudipu campus on the outskirts of the city recently.
A press statement by the company said the event created a platform for engineering students to experience the tools used by information technology industry and to network with professionals.
As part of the programme, there was a half-day coding fest for employees.
Another event of the hack-a-thon was idea-thon for students and Infosys employees.
Several innovative ideas were put forward by the participants, it said.
