Panasonic launches new phablet

Panasonic on Monday launched a new phablet – Eluga Note – priced at ₹13,290. The new smartphone is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow with octa-core processor 1.3GHz with 3GB RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB). The dual-sim capable smartphone supports 4G LTE, has 5.5–inch full HD display. The company said the product provides solutions and features for every aspect one looks for in a phablet. The Eluga Note features a 16-megapixel rear-camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, with a 3,000 mAh battery. “We are confident that the Eluga Note will enhance our market share as an emerging smartphone brand and further strengthen our position in the price band of ₹10,000-15,000,” said Pankaj Rana, Business Head (Mobility Division) of Panasonic India.
