Sapient on Friday named Mr Rajdeep Endow as the Managing Director of its India operations. Mr Endow - a member of the company's executive leadership team and current global delivery lead - takes over from Mr Karandeep Singh, who stepped down recently.
“In this role, Endow will drive the strategy, capability development, and growth of Sapient's India presence and maintain its status as hub of the company's globally distributed delivery network,” a company release said. He will maintain his current responsibilities as he takes on this expanded role, the release added. As managing director, Endow will report to the Sapient President and CEO, Mr Alan J. Herrick. “Our delivery network and capabilities in India have contributed greatly to Sapient's overall growth and success over the years,” said Mr Herrick.
Sapient's business in India has grown, on average, more than 20 per cent annually over the past three years and people count has increased 60 per cent during the same period. With the creation of two divisions – SapientNitro, focused on integrated marketing services and Sapient Global Markets, focused on IT solutions for the capital markets, Sapient has created a model that straddles both consulting and marketing, the release added.
Sapient has offices in Gurgaon, Noida, and Bangalore.
