Youtube, the eight-year-old online video-sharing site, has claimed average monthly visitor base of 100 crore.
“Advertisers have taken notice. All of the Ad Age Top 100 brands are now running campaigns on YouTube. YouTube now has more than a billion unique users every single month,” the YouTube team has said.
“Nearly one out of every two people on the Internet visits YouTube. If YouTube were a country, we’d be the third largest in the world after China and India,” the team said.
Over 400 crore hours of video are watched each month on the site. About 72 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute, it said.
