With the big four of the IT sector making smart gains, the IT index became the biggest sectoral gainer on the BSE today.
HCL Tech gained Rs 15.10 to move up to Rs 505.75. Infosys closed at Rs 2,406.95, a gain of Rs 19.30 and TCS was up by Rs 17.05 at Rs 1,240.80. Wipro edged up by Rs 10.85 at Rs 409.70.
But Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd was a big loser, shedding Rs 38.50 to close at Rs 2487.
The IT index gained about 66 points and it was the biggest gainer among sectoral indices on the BSE.
