Chinese shares erased the morning’s gains, led by a fall in financial shares as concerns over regulators’ moves to curtail certain credit products lingered.
The CSI300 index fell 0.2 per cent by 0555 GMT on Tuesday, after rising almost 2 per cent earlier in the day.
The financial sub-index dropped by more than 2 per cent.
