Gold futures on MCX opened marginally higher at Rs 31,457 for 10 grams against the previous close of Rs 31,456. Gold for December delivery on MCX managed its positive trend and was quoted at Rs 31,460 at 1:10 p.m.
In Comex, it was traded higher by $4 at $1,769 a troy ounce at 1.10 p.m.
