Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange were trading higher by 0.18 per cent at Rs 27,906 per 10 grams at 1.37 p.m. on Tuesday.
August contract opened higher at Rs 27,870 against the previous close of Rs 27,856. It made a high of Rs 27,966 and low of Rs 27,742.
In Comex, the yellow metal for December delivery was down by $9 at $1,293 a troy ounce at 1.38 p.m.
