Chambal Fertilizers mulls entering non-core biz plans

The board of directors of Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals on Thursday constituted a committee of the board to evaluate opportunities in the non-core businesses of the company. The Board has also authorised the committee to appoint legal, tax, financial and other consultants for the purpose and give its recommendations. Shares of Chambal Fertilizers edged up 3.6 per cent at ₹65.4 on the NSE.
