Record turnover on NSE F&O

The derivative segment of the NSE on Thursday (settlement day for Sept) registered a new record in volume. NSE’s total F&O turnover hit a record high of ₹5.326 lakh crore, surpassing the previous high of ₹4.415 lakh crore touched on July 10. Index options, too, touched a record high of ₹4.109 lakh crore, as a part of the total derivative turnover on the NSE. The total Bank Nifty turnover touched ₹65,470 crore, while the turnover for Bank Nifty Options hit an all-time high of ₹55,250 crore.
