ACC surged over 4 per cent to finish Wednesday’s session as the top gainer on the NSE. The share ended at Rs 1,446.90, up 4.29 per cent on its Tuesday close at Rs 1,387.35.
Pharma shares also held on to their firm undertone. Sun Pharma closed the day at Rs 927.75 against Rs 889.75 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 4.27 per cent.
Lupin held firm to build gains of 2.53 per cent at Rs 1,795.40 against Rs 1,751.05 at close overnight.
Wipro traded higher at Rs 584.75. This represented a gain of 2.38 per cent on its previous close at Rs 571.15.
HCL Technologies advanced 1.91 per cent at Rs 988.15 against Rs 969.60 at close yesterday.
