Bharti Airtel held firm to keep most of its morning gains at the close on the BSE on Monday. At 3.50 pm it had gains of 3.55 per cent at Rs 389.55 as against Rs 376.20 at close last Friday.
HDFC rallied further to build gains of 3.52 per cent at Rs 1,306.2. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 1,261.75.
ONGC flared up 3.49 per cent to trade at Rs 314.70 as against Rs 304.10 at close last week.
ITC rode up further to hold gains of 3.41 per cent at Rs 327.90 as against Rs 317.10 at close yesterday.
Coal India gained 3.27 per cent at Rs 358.8. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 347.45.
