Reuters Updated - December 07, 2021 at 01:38 AM.

Coal India gained over 1 per cent in early trade on Thursday. The stock has gained nearly 4 per cent in the last three sessions.

At 9.36 am, the stock was up 1.68 per cent or Rs 6.15 at Rs 372.

FTSE has raised investibility weighting to 21 per cent in its indexes effective February 12.

Traders bet on higher weights for Coal India due to higher free float after govt's divestment.
