eClerx buyback offer opens today

The ₹258-crore buyback offer of eClerx Services opens on Thursday and ends on March 8. The company plans to buy back 12.90 lakh shares at a maximum price of ₹2,000 a share. The size of the buyback is 3.23 per cent of the total paid-up equity of eClerx Services. The record date for the buyback, which will be on a proportionate basis through tender route, was set as February 5. Promoters PD Mundhra and Anjan Malik had conveyed their intention to participate in the buyback.
