HUL extends gains, up nearly 6% on NSE

Hindustan Unilever maintained its firm undertone to lead the pack on the NSE as well near the close on Friday. At 3.20 pm it was trading at Rs 865.70 as against Rs 817.05 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 5.95 per cent.

Infosys, which announced that it had posted a 13 per cent hike in net profit in Q3, also spurted 5.05 per cent to trade at Rs 2,073.05 as against Rs 1,973.45 at close on Thursday.

Tech Mahindra traded up 4.46 per cent to quote at Rs 2,681.05 as against Rs 2,566.65 at close overnight.

Dr Reddy’s Labs also extended its morning gains to quote at Rs 3,162 as against Rs 3,066.30 at close yesterday.

TCS sped up 2.83 per cent at Rs 2,513 as against Rs 2,443.80 at close on Thursday.
