Hindustan Unilever extended its firm trend on the market to hold gains of 4.11 per cent on the BSE near the close on Monday. At 3.15 pm it was trading at Rs 899 as against Rs 863.50 at close on Friday.
Infosys rode up 2.09 per cent to trade at Rs 2,116.90 as against Rs 2,073.60 at close last week.
Larsen & Toubro built up gains of 2.07 per cent at Rs 1,531.50. The share had closed last week’s session at Rs 1,500.40.
HDFC traded up 1.65 per cent at Rs 1,130.60. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 1,112.20.
Axis Bank was also on the uptrend, gaining 1.32 per cent at Rs 501.95 as against Rs 495.40 at close last week.
