Pharma scrip Sun Pharmaceutical Industries advanced further to hold gains of 3.41 per cent at Rs 870.50 against Rs 841.80 at close yesterday.
TCS made further gains at Rs 2,673.20. This represented a gain of 2.69 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 2,603.05 at close yesterday.
Wipro spurted 1.60 per cent to quote at Rs 575.30 against Rs 566.25 at close yesterday.
Lupin perked up 1.23 per cent at Rs 1,717.85 versus Rs 1,697 at close last evening.
