Infosys, the top gainer on the bourses on Friday, maintained its firm sentiment in late trading. At 3.20 p.m. it was trading at Rs 3,557.95, just off its morning highs but up 3.11 per cent on Thursday’s close of Rs 3,450.80. The IT major had reported strong Q3 numbers earlier in the day.
Wipro and TCS also sped up the NSE following the strong numbers reported by Infosys.
Wipro gained 2.79 per cent at Rs 556 as against Rs 540.90 at close on Thursday. TCS made gains of 1.80 per cent at Rs 2,282.20 as against Rs 2,241.95 at close yesterday.
ITC also made rapid strides to emerge among the top gainers in late trading. It was quoting at Rs 322.70 as against Rs 315.60 at close on Thursday, a gain of 2.25 per cent.
Dr Reddys Labs perked up in late trading to quote at Rs 2,625.55 as against Rs 2,586.90 at close previously.
