Marksans Pharma gets nod US FDA nod for Loratadine capsules

Marksans Pharma on Monday informed the exchanges that it has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for an ANDA for Loratadine liquid filled capsules 10 mg. Loratadine liquid filled capsules is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Loratadine is used to treat sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, skin rashes, itching and other symptoms of allergy. Shares of Marksans Pharma jumped 10.5 per cent at ₹52.75 on the NSE.
