NMDC shines on NSE, up over 1% in morning session

NMDC shone in the morning session on the NSE on New Year’s Day. It was trading at Rs 146.70 as against Rs 145 at close on Wednesday. This represented a gain of 1.17 per cent.

Punjab National Bank rode up 1 per cent to trade at Rs 221.30 as against Rs 219.10 at close yesterday.

BHEL was broadly strong, riding up 0.96 per cent to quote at Rs 267.80 as against Rs 265.25 overnight.

Cipla spurted 0.85 per cent to trade at Rs 631.70. The share had closed Wednesday’s session at Rs 626.40.

IDFC gained 0.70 per cent at Rs 158.45 as against Rs 157.35 at close yesterday.
