What to Watch. Titan to take majority stake in Carat Lane

Titan Company, in a post-market-hours disclosure to the exchanges on Friday, said that its board had approved acquisition of majority stake in Chennai-based Carat Lane Trading Pvt Ltd. The company will disclose the financial details of the all-cash deal once the due diligence is over, it said. Carat Lane Trading is engaged in manufacturing, designing, trading and retailing of gems and jewellery. Analysts will track the development very closely.
