Wipro surged on buyback proposal.
Shares of Wipro Ltd jumped as much as 5.45 per cent, their biggest intraday percentage gain since January 19, 2015.
The IT company had said on Friday it would consider a buyback proposal on July 20.
According to analysts, the shares were up on buyback proposal.
Up to Friday's close, stock had risen 9.54 per cent this year.
