Zuari Agro shuts down urea plants

Zuari Agro Chemicals has informed the BSE that the operations of the ammonia and urea plants of the company have been shut down due to drop in pressure across the low temperature shift converter. The catalyst is in the process of being replaced. Once normalcy is restored, the company will intimate the exchanges, it said. However, the company did not elaborate on the financial implications of the shutdown. Shares of Zuari Agro Chemicals inched up 0.3 per cent at ₹257.5 on the NSE.
