Tuticorin-based Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd (TMB) celebrated its 90th Anniversary Day on Friday. The celebrations were held in a function at Tuticorin, in the presence of the Board of Directors of the Bank, presided over by the Managing Director and CEO of the Bank, Mr A.K. Jagannathan, said a press release.
The Chief Guests were Mr G. Srinivasan, Chairman cum Managing Director of United India Insurance Company Ltd, and Ms L. Sashikala Puspha, Mayor of Thoothukudi Municipal Corporation and Mr J. Kasiviswanathan, Ex-Chairman, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd.
The Managing Director and CEO and the Directors of the bank, delivered the Founders' Day message.
At the function, the children of the employees, who have scored 1st and 2nd rank in 10th and 12th Standard Final examinations were honoured.
In addition to the above, bank branches carried out similar activities at various centres, the release added.
