The State Bank of India (SBI), Kolkata circle, has recently opened a tech learning centre (TLC) in the city.
In these TLCs, customers will be explained about the various features of alternate channels, shown live demos and will also be told about the security aspects of each channel.
Sessions at these centres will last for 60-90 minutes, the bank said in a release.
Despite the rise in alternate channels for routine banking operations, a section of customers are still hesitant about its usage. Concerns vary from safety to complexity, sources said.
