Chandrababu releases The Hindu’s publication on Tirumala Brahmotsavam

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday released Srivari Brahmotsavam 2015 — A Celestial Spectacle on Earth , a publication of The Hindu group.

Naidu released the book at his camp office here. Srivari Brahmotsavam - 2015 is a commemorative volume on the Tirumala temple and it has a rich collection of articles that are religious, pilgrim-oriented and Puranic, apart from exclusive pictures of the Lord and the temple.

The cover story explains the context and meaning of verses from the

Divya Prabhandam recited during the daily vahana processions. There are articles on Sri Ramanuja’s role in institutionalising religious practices at the temple; the Agama traditions; interviews with the chief priest, Chairman and Executive Officer of TTD, etc.

The book also throws a light on the new queue system and on-line booking of darshan . The publication comes with two rare pictures of Lord Malayappa Swamy in poster size.

Those present on the occasion included Associate Editor, BusinessLine and Editorial Anchor of the book, Raghuvir Srinivasan, Regional General Manager (Advertisement) T Subramanian, and Senior Regional General Manager VV Raja Rao.
