55 students of GAIL Utkarsh programme clear JEE Advance examination

A total of 55 students trained under GAIL (India) Ltd's CSR initiative Utkarsh 100 have cracked the JEE Advance Examination, the public sector company said in a statement on Monday. 

The training is offered free of cost to ensure that poor, meritorious students, selected through a diligent process of written test and interview. The scheme was launched in 2009. 

GAIL (India) Ltd added in a statement that the Utkarsh Super 100 has a success rate of over 87 per cent and is delivering good results year after year and intends to continue nurturing talent from the weaker sections of the society.
