The Punjab Government has issued instructions to district education officers to start departmental action against all employees working on the basis of certificates from fake universities.
State Education Minister Sikander Singh Maluka on Friday said written instructions have been given to all district education authorities in this regard. He said 21 universities have been enlisted as fake by the University Grants Commission.
Maluka said the Punjab Government would not consider certificates of these fake universities while appointing a candidate for the Government service.
