RINL, Andhra University sign pact

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd/ Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has signed a memorandum of understanding with Andhra University for a range of purposes including conduct of surveys, study of environmental aspects and CSR activities for a period of three years i.e. from 2013-2015, according to a press release.

Y.R. Reddy, Director (Personnel), said on the occasion both RINL and Andhra University would explore areas of co-operation and would utilise their strengths to collaborate for establishing institutes of higher learning. Vice-Chancellor G.S.N. Raju responded by saying that “the motto of Andhra University is spreading education and character building.”

The signing and exchange of documents was conducted at the Senate Hall. It was signed by K. Rama Mohan Rao, Registrar, Andhra University, and A. Radhakrishna, the GM (Training & HRD), RINL/VSP.
