Societe Generale announces 4th phase of scholarship programme

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC), a subsidiary of the French banking and financial services company Societe Generale, has announced the fourth phase of their unique scholarship programme — ‘SG GSC India Talent Scholarship’ which focuses on funding higher education for talented students with financial difficulties.

Since its launch in 2010, the SG GSC talent scholarship programme has provided scholarship to 45 students from different institutes such as the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM A), the Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli (IIM T), the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM B), the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM K), the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad (ISB), and the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), according to a company statement.

Xavier Lofficial, Chief Executive Officer of SG GSC, said all students supported by SG GSC had built successful careers in leading organisations across the globe.
