A new business school, Woxsen School of Business coming up at Sadasivpet near here, will commence admissions in November.

“We will be offering both one-year and two-year post-graduate programmes in management and the first batch will commence in April,” its Dean R. Narasimhan told newspersons after formally announcing the launch here on Thursday.

The school has applied to the All-India Council of Technical Education for approval of the proposed courses.

Initially, Woxsen would offer admission to 120 students with a fee of Rs 12.5 lakh. “At present, the demand for premium management courses is around 15,000 while existing schools have about 3,000 seats. We want to position ourselves in the segment,” the dean said.

A 200-acre campus is being built near Sadasivpet near here. “In the first phase, we are investing Rs 100 crore in this project,” he added.

The school is being promoted by Praveen Pula, a UK-based businessman.
