Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM), a leading law firm, has added 16 new partners across its various practice areas, raising the total partnership strength to 85.
All the new partners have come through internal promotions, the first since its inception and reflecting the quality of internal bench strength.
SAM has also opened an office in Chennai, marking its entry into Tamil Nadu. It has now appointed GV Anand Bhushan as head of Chennai office, a press release issued by the company said.
