Livspace, an online home design and decor market place, has acquired DezignUp in an attempt to scale up its offerings to homeowners. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
With the acquisition of DezignUp, Livspace will offer even more scale and choice to homeowners to design beautiful homes, the company said ina statement.
"It is our constant endeavour to use disruptive technology, data science, and design innovation to bring the best home design experience for customers. In DezignUp, we saw a similar blend of scale, intellectual pedigree, and energy. We’re already hitting a multimillion dollar run rate in our business, and, our key reasons for acquiring them was to scale our business even faster, offer more design choice to homeowners, and work with the top quality DezignUp team,” said Anuj Srivastava, co-founder at Livspace.
Early this year, Livspace had got its first institutional funding (Series A) from Helion, Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP) and Jungle Ventures.
