Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted congratulating Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on her victory in the Assembly elections.
In a tweet, Modi said: "Had a telephone conversation with Jayalalithaa ji and congratulated her on her victory. Also conveyed my best wishes to her."

At 11.25 am, out of the 213 seats, the ruling AIADMK was leading in 128, followed by the DMK and its allies in 85, says Tamil Nadu Election Commission.
