Dhanush Engineering Services inked a pact with the National Skill Development Council (NSDC) as a training partner.

The company, which has offices in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Delhi and Maharashtra, plans to expand to Bhopal and Bangalore.

As part of the agreement, Dhanush, which is engaged in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) training for over 10 years, plans to train nearly one lakh students in this sector in the next 10 years, said M Chakradhar, founder and CEO.

“We will train 81,674 students, out of which AC technicians, electricians and plumbers (technicians) will be 44,626 and electrical and plumbing (engineers) will be 37,050,” he added.

Dhanush aims to achieve this goal through its 18 centres, including 12 mobile centres spread across the country. The fixed centres are located in Hyderabad, Delhi, Thrissur, Pune, Bhopal and Bengaluru.

The total project is estimated at ₹4.67 crore. “The potential is vast, as about 40 out of every 100 jobs that exist in the construction sector in India today are related to MEP. A huge demand exists in the Middle East,” he said.
