Gandhinagar-based Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI) Director, Prof T Harinarayana has been conferred with “Energy and Environment Foundation Global Excellence Award-2014 in Renewable Energy Sector” on August 21.
At the inaugural event of the 5{+t}{+h} World Renewable Energy Technology Congress & Expo-2014 at Delhi Cantt, Delhi, Prof. Harinarayana was awarded for his 35 years of outstanding contribution in the field of geothermal and solar. The Energy and Environment Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India and UNESCO New Delhi had organised the Expo during August 21-23 at Delhi, under the theme of “Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency: Empowering Sustainable Tomorrow”.
