Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Sudip Bandopadhyay said West Bengal would soon get an AIIMS-like hospital and medical institute.
“We are planning to set up a medical institute on the lines of AIIMS at Kalyani in West Bengal," Bandopadhyay said while inaugurating a two-day conference on healthcare organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce here on Saturday.
Apart from West Bengal, such medical institutes would also be set up in Orissa, Bihar and Rajasthan initially, he added
