LCD, LED screens to spread the PM’s poll campaign message

Modi’s rally on January 10 at the Ramlila Ground is expected to draw an audience of over 1 lakh.

The preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally here on January 10 are going on in full swing with the Delhi BJP targeting an audience of over one lakh for the event.

As many as 12 committees have been constituted by Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay and committee members will look after the preparations of transportation and decoration for putting up the mega show at Ramlila Ground here.

“LED screens are being installed at the venue so that more people can watch PM Narendra Modi. Besides, we have made sitting arrangements for more than one lakh people here at Ramlila Maidan,” said Ashish Sood, who is in charge of the venue.

With the PM’s rally, BJP will kickstart its campaign to capture power in the national capital after a gap of 16 years.

The party is also considering installing big LCD screens at various ISBTs, railway stations and big markets across the city so that people can watch the live telecast of Modi’s speech. Upadhyay also said that the Chief Ministers of Jharkhand, Haryana and Maharashtra will also be attending the rally.

Daily reports Apart from that, district presidents of the party have been asked to submit daily reports to the State BJP office.

The party has also installed hoardings — Chalo Chale Modi Ke Saath — across the national capital to draw more people to the venue. BJP national general secretary (Organisation) Ram Lal had on December 30 directed party leaders and workers that from each polling centre, one bus should be arranged so that a large number of people come to hear Modi’s speech.

He had also asked its Delhi unit leaders to put up only Modi’s photo on electoral hoardings and posters.
