German mining firms keen to supply equipment to Singareni Collieries

A group of delegates from 15 German companies met with N.Sridhar, Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd. today and expressed their interest to supply equipments to meet the mining company’s expansion requirements.

The delegation included representatives from SIEMAG TECBERG GmbH, KAMAT GmbH & Co., DMT GmbH & Co.KG, SMT Scharf AG, Kleemann GmbH, VDMA Franfurt and GEO Constech Pvt.Ltd. among others, according to a statement from Singareni Collieries.

These companies have been supplying modern equipment and technology to various coal companies around the world and have now come forward to supply to SCCL.

During the meeting, N. Sridhar stated that Singareni is planning to increase its production to 80 millions tonnes per annum and is keen to adopt modern technology such as Longwall, Continuous miners etc in the proposed mining projects.

He advised them to come up with comprehensive plan, supply and maintenance plan after conducting field visit of the Singareni mining sites.
