Metro Cash & Carry today announced its third wholesale outlet in Hyderabad. It will be the 17th wholesale distribution centre in India.
The outlet will be opened in late June in Shamshabad area on the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport road on the outskirts of the city. The company had entered Hyderabad in 2006 with its first wholesale outlet at Moosapet and opened its second outlet at Uppal in 2010.
Early last year, Metro had announced its plans to expand its network of distribution centres to 50 by 2020.
The company offers close to 8,500 world-class products across a multitude of categories - such as fruits and vegetables, general grocery, dairy, frozen and bakery products, fish and meat, confectionery, detergents and cleaning supplies, health and beauty products, media and electronics, household goods and apparel - all under one roof, and at transparent, low wholesale prices.
